This activity was a way to instill aspiration in the participants. It was held on 26 November 2018 at Ruili Academy of Fine Arts.
We started off with a lecture on the renowned artist Monet and his works. After that, it was time to try our hand at painting. Each of us chose a picture that reflected a desire or a passion, to paint on the easel. In the process, we learnt more about what it takes to be an artist, as the teachers stood nearby to offer any needed guidance.
The session ended with the principal giving her perspective on each of our paintings. We got to know more about ourselves as we listened to her. It was certainly an enriching time spent on an activity we normally would not do.
